The owner(s) will be strongly urged to find alternative methods to drain
their basements. Any competent plumber or contractor can assist you with
possible solutions. Any customer who disconnects the basement drains prior
to September 1st of a given year, will not be assessed a fee
for that period provided that the disconnection meets the District's specifications
and is reinspected by the District.

It is the customer's responsibility to inform a prospective buyer of the existence of any building drains connected to the public sewer system, regardless of the customer's billing status.
